Largest Southern Port of China Authority officially partners with TAG International for development and promotion of the RV market

On October 23, 2011, the Guangxi Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area Administration Committee hosted a “Briefing Conference on Maga-projects in the Guangxi Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area & a Signing Ceremony for Projects on Auto Industry Cooperation with the city of Liuzhou ” at the Nanning International Exhibition Center. This same exhibition center had also hosted the 8th annual China-ASEAN Expo and 8th annual China-ASEAN Commercial & Investment Summit Meeting.

Guests in attendence included: Mr. Gao Xiong-Vice President of China’s Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, Mr. Naixue Wang-Secretary of Guangxi Qinzhou Free Trade Port and Director of Administration Committee, Mr. Naixue Wang-Deputy Mayor of Liuzhou City along with many other government officials and businessleaders.

Ms. Zhuang Xiaolin, a representative from Transtock Acquisition Group (TAG) and General Manager of Transtock Investment & Management Co. Ltd, was invited as a business representative and a guest speaker for this coalition.

Mentioned in her speech was the fact that Guangxi Qinzhou Free Trade Port Area is the only one of its kind in southwest China. It is considered the 6th Free Trade Port Area in China, after Shanghai Yangshan, Tianjin Dongjiang, Dalian Dayaowan, Hainan Yangpu , and Ningbo Meishan.. The Guanxi Qinzhou Port is located on the coast of China’s ASEAN International Channel and southwest Channel, which allows for a convenient geographic advantage, favorable traffic conditions, a superior policy environment, and has tremendous potential for development. Meanwhile, Guangxi Qinzhou Bonded Port Area is the 5th largest of China’s Auto Imports Port. Its advantageous location of bordering the coast is just the beginning for Guangxi Qinzhou in becoming the largest auto import & export base in southern China.

TAG Participates in the 4th Camping Tourism Forum

The Fourth Forum on China's Camping Tourism

On Oct. 18th, 2011, Transtock Acquisition Group (TAG) was invited as a guest in the 4th camping tourism forum presented by the Beijing ZhongTianXing Camping Development co., LTD, that was sponsored by the China Tourism Transportation Association, China Travel Scenic Spot Association, Sichuan Tourism Administration, and Sichuan Tourism Association. The main focus of this forum was the development of camping tourism in China, the integration of self-driving autos, establishing RV camping sites, and popular tourism locations. Themes of the forum included: Self-Drive Trade Expo and launching a new auto camping branch in the China Tourism Transportation Association. Distinguished guests, such as leaders and experts from the National Tourism Administration, Sichuan Tourism Administration, National Camping Association and Taiyuan Camping Association, also attended the forum.

The camaraderie from the previous three forums helped spur the participants in cooperating together to form a solid foundation in the development of the domestic camping tourism industry. The goal being: to develop camping tourism in China and to create a platform for cooperation and communication in the camping industry. Doing so will allow adjustments to any new situations and needs in the tourism market and will also promote a sustainable and healthy development of the China tourism industry.

On Oct. 30th 2010, TAG CEO John Adams spoke at the 3rd Camping and Tourism Forum in China. His speech focused on “promoting the development of the tourism industry by speeding up the pace of camp planning construction throughout the country.” In his address, Adams expressed that the RV industry in China and in the U.S. should seek common ground, and to put differences aside in order to lead the industry. He also presented the three steps needed to promote the market in China: Introduction, Innovation, and Development.

In the past few years, TAG has actively promoted the cooperation and communication of the Chinese and U.S. RV industries. Sept. 2011, TAG has introduced a top-of-the-line RV model, Element, manufactured in the U.S. by Evergreen RV LLC., into the China market, and has also worked closely with Cabela’s, a 50 year old outdoor store with $2.5 billion in sales each year, in bringing their products to the China market. In addition, TAG has kept consistent and friendly relations with the news media, the chamber of commerce, and domestic and foreign governments at all levels. Currently, TAG maintains its friendly relationship with Guangxi Qinzhou and plans to establish an international RV trade market in China, specifically the Dongjiang port of Tianjing, to promote sustainable development in the Chinese camping industry.

Sichuan Delegation visits TAG Headquarters in Irvine

On Oct. 14th, 2011, the delegation team of 10 members from Sichuan Province, China, represented by Deputy Director of the People’s Congress of Neijiang, Bing Wang, visited the Transtock Acquisition Group (TAG) headquarters in Irvine, California. In addition to visiting the headquarters, they also traveled to the well-known Detroit Chassis and Powertrain Integration an engine manufacturer in Detroit. They then traveled to the city of Pomona in order to promote trade, communication, and cooperation between Neijiang and Pomona.

During their tour in Pomona, they visited the Chamber of Commerce. There they met city councilor Steve Ashley and Chamber Director Pat Martinez. Ashley warmly welcomed the visiting delegation with an introduction of Pomona. Afterwards, Wang gave a presentation on the geographic advantage of Neijiang as well as the development potential of this economic and cultural city. During the meeting, Ashley expressed that with China quickly developing in all industries, Pomona will do its best to build a solid bridge of communication between them and Neijiang through culture, economics, and education. Wang followed that by stating Neijiang will also do its part in improving its communication with Pomona to create more opportunities, cooperation and mutually beneficial situations for the two cities.

Transtock Acquisition Group (TAG) has always strived toward the development of communication between the U.S. and China, especially in promoting the local economies. Moreover, TAG is currently promoting the development of the RV industry in the Chinese market, as well as introducing newer technology in manufacturing electric vehicles in China. By bringing Neijiang and Pomona together, TAG CEO, John Adams, expects to create new opportunities between the two cities. Furthermore, the delegation visited the U.S. headquarters of TAG in Irvine, California, where they learned of TAG’s on-going projects and were given brief reports of TAG’s international relations. After the meeting, the delegation gave Adams a CD presenting pictures of Neijiang city and a silver coin of Zhang Daqian, as a memoir, with the invitation that Adams would visit Neijiang in the near future.

During their stay, the delegation team also visited the Permaseal factory, the famous auto parts & accessories store Pepboy’s, and Crevier classic car in order to help aide their research of the RV and outdoor market in the U.S.

This visit has opened a new page of friendship between the two cities. Moreover, all of the delegation members walked away with valuable knowledge on the U.S. business model, market and economic value of the RV tourism industry, auto, auto parts, and the auto accessory industries. In the end, much was accomplished during their 10 day visit.

Transtock Acquisition Group Delegation Visits Nangong Municipality of Hebei Province

Sept. 20th, 2011, TAG delegation represented by CEO John Adams, accompanied by TAG Asia General Manager Zhang Dandan, TAG Business Manager and Administrate Assistant, and Deputy Secretary of Hong Kong Chinese Industry & Commerce Association Miss Peng Huiru, made a visit to the Nangong municipality of Hebei province to discuss the development of the Chinese Tourism Industry. The TAG delegation was warmly received by the Vice Secretary Mr. Zhang Hui and Governor Mr. An Jianbo, who hosted a dinner meeting for the group where Mr. Zhang Hui presented studies showing the current investment environment and development condition of Nangong.

During the visit, the group inspected the planning and construction of Nanhu Spring Resort, Nanhu Park, officially protected resort Putongta Temple, and the Shijiazhuang international auto trade area. In addition, they also stopped by Nangong companies such as Dekai Texture, Longhai Steel, Longteng Coal & Chemical, Special Breeding Base of Nangong vocational education, Yanfeng food, Qianxihe food, Hua’ao, etc. On Sept. 21, 2011, after much discussion with Mr. An Jianbo, TAG and Nangong local government came to a consensus to jointly promote the development of the tourism industry in Nangong.

Both TAG and the Nangong local government are confident in the rich tourism resources and favorable investment environment Nangong offers. As a diversified investment group with an interest in tourism, RVs, automobiles and tourism, TAG plans to take advantage of its market development experience and US-China integration ability, to support Nangong in becoming a major city in the RV industry and to become the retail and rental center of RVs in Northern China. At the meeting, TAG and the local government officials discussed camp site building, government support, industry publicity and many other things. In the end, the meeting was a success with the overall theme of “passion, honesty and cooperation”. The TAG delegation returned back to Beijing on Sept.22.

Third China Camping Leisure Tourism Forum

BEIJING, China- The Third Annual China Camping Leisure Tourism Forum promoting “Accelerating the Pace of National Campsite Planning and Development” was held on October 30, 2010 in Beijing. The two-day event was co-sponsored by the China Tourism Association and Beijing Tourism Bureau and was well represented by party members of the National Tourism Administration, China Tourism Association, China National Tourism Administration Planning and Finance, US Department of Commerce, provincial and municiple tourism bureaus, and China and US private camping industry companies. The main theme aimed to develop a healthy camping culture and promote a sustainable tourism market behind this emerging industry. The comprehensive forum agenda consisted of panel discussions, business exchanges, Q&A sessions, and actual campsite visits.

Among the many industry experts, camping industry operators, and tourism bureau representatives who shared market information at the annual forum was Mr. John Adams, CEO of Transtock Acquisition Group, Inc., USA. Adams called for a strengthened relationship with the US and European established camping industries to ensure the development of a strong domestic industry. Collaboration between US and international counterparts would step up the pace on the establishment of the China camping industry. A well-balanced nationwide camping and RV tourism market that will be enjoyed and appreciated by Chinese consumer travelers builds on an all-inclusive yet diversified support network. This goal would be achieved and advanced more easily if private and public operators consolidated and shared their resources to eliminate duplicated efforts and allow full development of an industry platform that would be both deep and wide.

Other keynote panel speakers included Wu Wenxue, Vice President of National Tourism Administration, China tourism Association; Gwen Lyle from US Department of Commerce Beijing Office; and Liu Weiyi, President of CRVC, China.

Several collaboration agreements and Memorandums of Understanding were signed off, demonstrating the overwhelming mutual desire for industry cooperation. Most notably, a strategic alliance partnership agreement between Transtock Acquisition Group, Inc., USA and CRVC, China was simultaneously executed.
